Train to ride...300kms/h 14/11/08
Well James and I clocked it doing about 260km/h (160mph)
It got us to Madrid in speed and comfort.....if only british rail.......
But Before we got on it was time to stop for breakfast at the station cafe..
On arrival in Madrid Margerie,very fond of kissing the band by now...took us for a little tour to find the hotel...
Just enough time to pop out and get some fine fish soup before Paul and I go shopping.
A pair of new boots for Mr.Booth and a Jacket for yours truely later, we jump back on the bus.
Just enough time to scrub up before hitting the restaurant: Botin dating back to the 16th century....
It's time to celebrate some more Birthdays: James, Ross and Richard!
Mmmmm tasty!
On the way home James and Ross get friendly with Tin Tin and Snowy.
James tries not to think about underware...Duck Poe lends a hand ;)
Everyone stops to contemplate the Civil War in the town square...
Now that IS amazing! exclaims Simon with more than a little excitement....
